What is Postviral Syndrome?
Post viral syndrome (PVS) is the fatigue syndrome following a viral infection. PVS is often chronic. It is caused by residue left behind after a viral infection that causes a variety of symptoms in the long run. Examples include very strong chronic fatigue, muscle pains partly independent of strain, frequent elevated body temperature, lymph node swelling, hypoglycemia, encephalitic disorders, disorders in refined motor skills, frequent recurrent infections of throat and respiratory tract, frequent headaches, sore throat.
