What is a Flame-extinguishing paper bin?

A flame-extinguishing paper bin may be sold as flame-extinguishing only if the garbage can has passed the TNO test (B89-623). Due to an anti-fire system, the trash can ensures that the fire ignited in the trash can no longer receive oxygen through the lid and extinguishes on its own. The metal trash can has a lid shaped like a funnel with a round hole in the middle. Once a fire starts in the trash can, the smoke is recirculated and the receding smoke causes oxygen deprivation. In some companies, these types of trash cans are even mandatory.
