What is a Melamine sponge?
Melamine sponge Also called the miracle sponge, consists of a formaldehyde – melamine – sodium bisulfite copolymer. This sponge is widely used for removing various types of stains. The surface determines whether the sponge leaves scratches. The durability of the miracle sponge is not high. Melamine foam has been used for 20 years as insulation for pipes and ductwork, among other things. It also has a long history of use as a soundproofing material for auditoriums, music studios and so on. It is considered non-flammable due to its low smoke and flame properties.
